About Us

William grew up in California and practiced law in Nevada for 14 years before moving to Knoxville in 2008. He has 16 years of valuable legal experience to apply to your legal problems. He has worked in prosecution, defense, and corporate law.

He is a member of the Tennessee and Nevada Bar Associations and licensed to practice in both states. He is fluent in Russian and has lived and studied abroad, most of the time at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, where he studied legal ethics and international legal relations.

William J. Taylor a former DUI prosecutor for Boulder City, Nevada. He understands exactly what the State needs in order to obtain a conviction. This has given him the experience and knowledge required to aggressively defend you of all DUI/DWI/drunk driving charges. Whether this is your first DUI or you have been convicted of DUI previously, we will explore all avenues possible in order to minimize the negative consequences to you.

Terris has over 20 years of legal experience and has been part of the Law Office of William J. Taylor since August 2016. As a licensed Tennessee State Notary Public she assists Mr. Taylor within a variety of areas including Criminal Defense and Litigation. Outside of the office she is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.
